Membership Terms & Conditions

 
  • • Membership application accepted upon completion of successful free trial walk/day care, receipt of signed consent forms, direct debit mandate and proof of vaccinations.

    • Your membership subscription is billed every 28 days in advance and runs for minimum of 28 days. Payment is due on receipt of invoice and will be taken by direct debit within 7 days.

    • Services used outside of your membership will be charged at ad hoc rate and invoiced at the end of the 28 day period, to be taken by direct debit.

    • Subscription can be cancelled within 14 days of initial set up, you will be refunded any pre-payment, less any completed services.

    • After 14 days, to cancel subscription we require 28 days notice in writing to woof@happyhoundshants.co.uk.

    • Happy Hounds (HH) reserves the right to terminate a dog’s place with immediate effect if a breach of our terms and conditions occurs or the manager feels that walks/day care is no longer suitable for your dog and is putting the welfare of your dog, other dogs or our staff at risk. A refund will be issued, less any completed services.

    • Membership days are subject to availability. Any permanent changes to subscription days requires 28 days notice - please note we cannot guarantee availability for changes.

    • HH cannot guarantee availability for ad hoc requests - these requests should be put through on our usual booking system (Pet Sitter Plus). If less than 24hours notice for a service request please contact manager directly, in working hours.

    • If your dog will not be attending a session, where possible, HH kindly asks that you inform us (via email or text) at least 24 hours in advance so we can plan our schedules.

    • Should you terminate your membership you may still use HH for ad hoc services. Once membership is terminated you may not re-apply for membership within 6 months, membership will be subject to availability.

    • Should your dog fall fatally ill or should sudden death occur, HH will issue a refund of the last payment less any completed services.

    • HH is open 9am-4pm all year round excluding Sundays, bank holidays & period between Christmas and New Year.

    • Membership is paid all year round, every 4 weeks & in advance, regardless of whether services are used. Happy Hounds has accounted for two weeks of client holiday per year and business closures.

    • Credits will be given for any days the service cannot be provided outside of company closures (i.e staff sickness, vehicle breakdown). If possible HH will attempt to move your service but this cannot be guaranteed.

    • Credits will not be given in circumstances where HH closes the business due to safety concerns for your dogs and/or staff (such as snow, high winds and extreme temperatures).

    • Any personal information given to Happy Hounds will only be used to ensure the safety and care of your dog. All private information will only be accessible to specific staff on the day of the service. This information will be accessible via the booking site Pet Sitter Plus, once set up by the Happy Hounds Manager. You will have consented access to delete/update your personal information via Pet Sitter Plus at any time.

    • You confirm that your dog is up to date with vaccinations and you have provided a copy to HH.

    • Prices will be increased annually in line with CPI. No half day day care rates available.

    • All prices are inclusive of transport.

    • Membership is per dog.

    • HH clients do not have to sign up to membership, you may use us at the ad hoc rate, we just cannot guarantee spaces like we can with membership places.
